Aircon General Servicing in Punggol — $40 Per Unit
General servicing is the routine clean every aircon needs about once a quarter. It is not a repair and not a chemical treatment — it is the maintenance visit that stops you from ever needing those, or at least delays them by years. In Punggol, we do it for a flat $40 per unit, with additional units about 25% off from the second unit onwards.
Exactly what's included in the $40
Four things, every visit: we remove and wash the filters and front cover, clear the drainage tray and pipe so condensation flows out instead of onto your wall, check the gas pressure at the condenser, and run a full operations check — cooling temperature, fan speeds, unusual noise, remote response. You get photos of the completed work sent to your phone, and the visit is logged against that specific unit in your service history.
General servicing vs chemical wash — which one do you need?
If your aircon has been serviced regularly and just needs its routine clean, general servicing is enough. If it hasn't been touched in a year or more, smells musty the moment it starts, or cools noticeably worse than before, the dirt has likely worked past the filters into the coil — that needs a chemical wash ($90). Our honest rule: we will tell you on-site if $40 won't fix your problem, before doing any work, so you're not paying for a clean that can't help.
Pricing for System 3 and System 4 flats
Most Punggol BTO flats run three or four fan coil units off one condenser. With the multi-unit discount, a System 3 works out to roughly $100 per visit and a System 4 roughly $130 — the first unit at $40 and each additional unit about 25% off. All units are done in the same visit, usually within an hour to ninety minutes for a whole flat.
Why quarterly, not yearly
Singapore's humidity means mould and bacteria grow in a damp fan coil within weeks, and fine dust clogs filters long before a year is up. Quarterly servicing keeps efficiency up (a clogged unit works harder and costs more to run), keeps the air you sleep in clean, and catches small problems — a slow drip, a weak fan — while they are still cheap. If remembering every three months is a chore, our quarterly contract books it for you automatically.
Booking and payment, the simple way
Two ways in: the /book page, or a WhatsApp message at whatever hour the dripping wakes you — our assistant replies straight away with real slots and the exact price for your unit count. We run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, across every postal code starting 82. A reminder lands on WhatsApp the day before, changing plans costs nothing up to 4 hours ahead, and settling up happens once the technician is done — PayNow or cash, your pick.
Frequently asked questions
How long does general servicing take?
About 20 to 30 minutes per unit. A full System 3 flat is typically done within an hour to ninety minutes, including the condenser gas pressure check.
Does the $40 include the gas pressure check?
Yes. Checking gas pressure is part of every general service. If pressure is low we tell you, quote the top-up price on the spot (from $70 depending on gas type and amount), and only proceed if you agree.
Do I need to prepare anything before the visit?
Just clear a little space under each indoor unit so the technician can set up, and make sure the service yard or ledge access to the condenser isn't blocked. We bring everything else, including ground sheets to keep your floor clean.
What if the technician finds a bigger problem?
We tell you what we found, show you, and quote the fix — chemical wash at $90, overhaul at $160, or a repair quote — before doing anything beyond the booked service. Nothing extra happens without your go-ahead.
